Revista ştiinţifică a Universităţii de Stat din Moldova „Studia Universitatis Moldaviae” a fost fondata în anul 2007 cu denumirea de „Studia Universitatis”, fiind acreditata ca revistă naţională de profil categoria C în anul 2008. În anul 2013 este reacreditată la aceeaşi categorie sub denumirea „Studia Universitatis Moldaviae”. Pe 21 mai 2015 este evaluată în calitate de revistă științifică categoria B. Revista iese anual de sub tipar în 5 serii a cate 2 numere fiecare serie:
Studia Universitatis Moldaviae is an academic, open access and double blind peer reviewed journal founded in 2007 by the Moldova State University (the Republic of Moldova). The aim of journal is publication and dissemination of original research results obtained by the Moldova State University employees and other researchers from Moldova and abroad. The journal goal is also expanding editorial relations with partners from other institutions in the country and abroad, as well as informing the academic community about news from different fields of scientific research.
The journal is published in five separate series with two volumes each per year:

The published papers cover various research fields along with book reviews and anniversary announcements.
The submitted papers should correspond to the journal topics. The paper should be presented in an explicit manner in accordance with the topic of research and up-to-date scientific methodology. The paper should be based on adequate research strategies and relevant references. The submitted paper should contribute to the development of the research field, and can be written in Romanian, English or French.
This is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of the open access.
